Abstract

The quark-gluon plasma is a complex structure generated in relativistic heavy-ion collisions that we treat as a tightly bound ideal fluid, but which is formed by an internal structure of loosely bound quarks and gluons. Observing this structure experimentally is an open problem, but if possible, it would allow us to understand how it gives rise to this fluid. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to study the scattering of jets created in heavy ion collisions carried out by the LHC along Run 3, to try to identify experimental observables that might be able to reveal this internal structure of the quark and gluon plasma.
