Abstract

The D-stability of matrices represents an important theoretical tool to include performance constraints on control designs for uncertain linear systems. In general, the literature results consider state feedback for control designs with D-stability constraints. However, there are practical problems where it is not possible to measure all states, which makes a control design of this type unfeasible. To deal with these problems we can use static output feedback. Controllers based on static output feedback have simple and low cost practical implementation when compared with controllers based on state feedback, state observers or dynamic output feedback. The undergraduate scientific project proposes to investigate new D-stabilization conditions for uncertain linear systems using static output feedback. The efficiency of the results will be check through comparisons with recent results from literature. Theoretical results will be validated in bench tests using equipment from the FEIS control laboratory.
