Abstract The interest in autonomous systems for transporting people and cargo is increasing in the context of smart cities. Considering a large-scale drone delivery system in a city, it is necessary to take into account a high density of drones and especially the safety of such service. One of the most critical phases is the landing due to the high traffic of drones in the surroundings and the lack of battery power. Based on a work about collision reduction in cruise flight, this work has as main objective to reduce collisions in the landing and takeoff phase in distribution centers through the implementation of algorithms for drone sequencing and experiments in a drone simulator. | |
