Abstract The student will develop a comprehensive quantitative theory for the universal mechanical properties of disordered elastic systems near the onset of rigidity, with focus on the analytical and numerical investigation of the role played by correlated disorder in the design and mechanical behavior of diverse disordered elastic systems with relevance to soft colloidal gels. | |
