Abstract

This project aims to expand the research carried out in the last 20 years in thehinterland of Pernambuco. The previous ones framed the themes of electoral politics andof democracy based on relations of violence, family and kinship, guaranteed andsimultaneously forming memory and territory. This project takes advantageof this knowledge by taking a step forward and to the side: diagonally, therefore. Hecontinues moving the territorial circumscription from Vale do Pajeú toAraripe microregion. Beside, as it incorporates previously marginal themeshow to deal with animals, plants and soil in the caatinga. a notionof management, built around the notions of creation and, also, of the family and thememory, as protagonists in the elaboration of a certain politics of existence is theyour motto.
