Abstract

Recent advances in next-generation sequencing technologies have opened unprecedent opportunities in studies on evolution of ecological interactions. This proposal for a short research abroad internship aims to write a review and perspectives paper on the use of next-generation sequencing technologies on studies of evolution of ecological interactions in collaboration with Prof. Whiteman (UC-Berkeley). This internship will also be important for an update on the proponent's knowledge of modern methods and approaches used on evolution of ecological interactions studies, and to stablish long-term collaborations between the proponent research group at São Paulo University and Prof. Whiteman's group.
