Abstract

The current project seeks to understand the relationship between resentment and suicide for Nietzsche in the passive experience of some sufferers in the cultural-historical moment of complete nihilism, taking the conceptual analyse of "suicide", "resentment", "ascetic ideal" and "nihilism" as the guiding thread. With the establishment of this relationship, resentment would not only be a sickliness in which the sufferer is unhappy with others, with life and with himself, but could also, in its last configuration, lead the sufferer to suicide.
