Abstract

Among the main objectives of the project, it is possible to find the use of a genetic algorithm that allows to select a composition with good mechanical strength and ductility, in addition to the production and characterization of the chosen composition.After the production in an electric arc melting furnace, the alloy will be homogenized and characterized using XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) techniques. Furthermore, the alloy will have its mechanical properties, with tensile and microhardness tests, and its thermal properties, with analyzes of Differential Scanning Calorimetry curves, tested.
