Abstract

This is a proposal for a BEPE to be carried out at the French institution École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay under the supervision of Fréderic Lebaron, from October 2023 to September 2024, and which work schedule seeks to contribute to the doctoral research under development in Brazil. The Bepe internship should collaborate in the research under development in Brazil (Agents, institutions and discourses disputing the economic action: the social construction of the space of economic policies in Brazil (2011-2018), which seeks to identify and objectify the symbolic disputes and their respective power relations around the fabrication of economic policies in Brazil between 2011 and 2018, through the identification of agents, institutions, speeches and positions taken by those engaged in the struggle to define the destinations of economic policy, as well as to objectify the space that takes shape around the economic policy of the period, based on the disputes made explicit by the speeches produced by what we call "economic policy operators", namely, politicians, administrators, advisors and specialists, positioned in key institutions in the elaboration and implementation of the state actions.
