Abstract

Starting from the history of the German Tanztheater, the project aims to investigate the different characteristics of choreographic composition observed in a work by the artist Pina Bausch (1940-2009) that was originally composed for the Tanztheater Wuppertal. The work is Kontakthof from 1978, that after almost 30 years in the Company's repertoire was rebuilt in 2000, to a cast of people over 65, non-professionals, and in 2008, with teenagers with over 14 years old, from public schools in the city of Wuppertal. Elements such as: choreography, gesture, transmissibility and dramaturgies, will be analyzed through two existing videos fromconstructions. Authors such as CIPRYANO (2005), KLEIN (2020), MILITO (2012), PEREIRA(2007-2021), SERVOS (1996) will support the research. Concomitant with the theoretical research of this project, a practical investigation approach is sought in the Laboratório de Pesquisa e Estudosem Tanz Theatralidades (LAPETT), articulating the knowledge in the Tanztheater doing for an integral understanding necessary in dance studies. Finally the result of twelve months of research will reveal our analysis and findings.
