Abstract

In a business environment marked by constant change, the role of marketing and marketing becomes essential to decipher trends and patterns of consumer behavior. Given the fluctuations in economic indicators, this project proposes an interdisciplinary investigation between administration, economics, and marketing, analyzing how economic indicators, such as interest rates, inflation, unemployment, and wages, affect consumption in essential sectors of the Brazilian economy, including retail, fashion, health, food, and tourism. By employing advanced machine learning approaches, the study will encompass steps ranging from data collection and pre-processing to simulation, based on deep neural networks and support vector machines. The models developed are expected to offer robust evidence that contributes to the formulation of more effective marketing strategies, revealing correlations and patterns that help in a deep understanding of market dynamics, and guiding scientifically based decisions in business and public policies.
