Abstract The present research project uses techniques from integrable field theories and soliton theory to study non-linear phenomena and non-perturbative aspects of field theories of physical interest. The main topic of interest is the study of global aspects of non-abelian gauge theories (Yang-Mills) using their integral equations, and their connection with some structures in loop space. We plan to investigate the properties of the non-abelian integral laws of Yang-Mills theories, which are a generalization of the usual integral laws of electrodynamics, like the Gauss law, the Faraday law, etc. | |
