Abstract

In this proposal, we consider the environmental and agrarian issues as part of a totality that manifests in territorial organization. The central objective is to study the socio-environmental impact of land regularization in the territory of the Extreme North Extractive Reserve of Tocantins, specifically for the Bico do Papagaio Microregion. The methodology will involve: (1) theoretical and documentary review, (2) fieldwork with observation and recording of on-site dynamics, and (3) conducting interviews. The expected outcome is to understand the multiscale dynamics that characterize and drive the territory, both socially and environmentally, within the context of inherent contradictions in the structure and land regularization in Northern Tocantins.
