Abstract

In this research project it is proposed to develop a methodology dedicated to planning the operation and short-term expansion (planning horizon of approximately 05 years) for electrical energy distribution networks with distributed generators that use renewable and non-renewable energy sources, with emphasis on solving the problem when DG is owned by the distributor and independent generators. To formulate the problem, classical optimization modeling must be researched with an emphasis on mixed integer nonlinear conic programming or mixed integer linear programming. The solution technique must to combin classical optimization with constructive heuristics based on the practical experience of designers and operators of electrical distribution systems with an emphasis on algorithms that use neighborhood techniques.
