Abstract

This project investigates the notion of libido in the early Freudian theory of neuroses. The goal is to discuss the role of libido and its connection to the sexual life of neurotics and neurasthenics. This is a theoretical-conceptual research, which will have as main material texts of Freud (1893-1898) on actual neuroses. It is expected to obtain conceptual elements for the understanding of the link between the libido and the somatic and pre-genital sources of anguish
