Abstract

One of the main aims of the polaritonics in 2D materials is to achieve control of the polariton waves propagation. This work aims to study (i) the anisotropic propagation of polaritons in hBN on alfa-MoO3 and GeSe substrates that have different crystalline axes in the basal plane and (ii) understand the mechanisms that cause the reflection of polariton waves in spectral regions of close epsilon to zero. The investigations will be carried out using near-field techniques: SINS and s-SNOM.
