Abstract

The scholarship aims to identify the formal mechanisms employed in endeavors to either fortify or undermine justice institutions. This will be achieved through a survey of Constitutional Amendment Proposals (PECs) and federal laws, the substantive provisions of which are geared towards altering the jurisdiction and authority of justice institutions. Additionally, the research aims to map the profile of appointments made to upper echelons within the Judiciary, including he Federal Supreme Court, Superior Court of Justice, Superior Military Court, Superior Labor Court, and Federal Regional Courts.
