Abstract

The Belle Époque, period between 1889 and 1914, allowed numerous cultural exchanges between Brazil and France. The research aims to understand how exchange artists, especially the students of the Franco-Swiss Eugène Grasset (1845-1917), implemented transformations in the Brazilian context, in architecture and decorative arts, not only in the academies, but also in the free studios of the country. .
