Abstract

The methodological procedures are based on the principles of dilation and physical action commented on by Burnier (2009) in the book "Arte de Ator" (Actor's Art); and on the capoeira training sequence that the researcher has been working on especially for this project, which will unfold from a body laboratory, aiming at "actor training". Both are intersected by psychophysical devices taken from capoeira, such as musicality, corporeality, narrativity and play. In addition, field research will be carried out in order to bring the actor closer to the experience of capoeira, expanding perceptions and co-habitating where capoeira has its strength; all added to a study of bibliographies that aims to enhance the practical studies carried out. As a means of recording, the researcher will use two tools: a research diary that aims to record the process, based on personal reflections/insights; and videos, which will be used during the actor's training period, in order to select and articulate parts for the assembly of the scenic dramaturgy. Furthermore, it is important to emphasize that in artistic processes we start with initial methodological procedures, but it is part of this field of knowledge to discover how to do things while doing them.
