Abstract

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is a treatment used to cure potentially fatal diseases and one of its complications may be Graft-versus-Host Disease (GVHD), in which the donor's lymphocytes attack the recipient's tissues. This study aims to evaluate the Quality of Life of adult patients with GVHD. Patients who are undergoing outpatient follow-up at the HCFMRP UTMO and who will return in the second half of 2022 will be invited to participate, with an estimated 15 participants. Two Questionnaires will be used, one for Post-BMT Recovery and one for Quality of Life, applied in person during outpatient visits. The answers to the first questionnaire will be analyzed qualitatively, through reflective thematic analysis, and the second will be analyzed according to the technique's recommendations. It is expected that the results will help health professionals, who will thus have greater access to understanding the condition.
