Abstract

The Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) process stands out among the various additive manufacturing technologies for metal alloys, due to its great capacity for customization and its high level of resolution, where the raw material in the form of metal powder interacts with a laser, building the component layer by layer. One of the major challenges is the lack of control over the process, resulting in different types of defects. Faced with this challenge, the purpose of this work is to analyze the mechanical properties of components manufactured via L-PBF by means of bending, tensile, compression and surface analysis tests.
