Abstract

The objective of this project is methodological. The project will seek to develop the numerical method known as Density Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG) with a focus on finding new implementations and ways to obtain Spectral Functions more efficiently. However, the main path to be followed is already paved and is based on fruitful works recently developed by Professor Jan von Delft's group at the University of Munich. These works explore tools based on Krylov space to obtain dynamical properties. We shall start from this point and seek to extend the proposed formalism to account for temperature-dependent properties.
