Abstract

Introduction:Skeletal muscle mass plays a vital role in health and sports performance. Protein intake and strength training are crucial for stimulating muscle growth. The quantity, type, and source of proteins, as well as the timing of intake, are key factors. Adequate protein intake is essential for regenerating muscle cells and building muscles. Many athletes use supplements to enhance performance. Objectives: This project aims to explore changes in the dietary intake of strength training practitioners, providing important insights into the relationship between increased training volume and increased protein consumption. Methodology: 20 men aged 18-40 will be recruited, participants will undergo a four-week period of remote training and dietary tracking. They will undergo initial tests and then have their diet and training monitored for 10 weeks, with assessments at the midpoint and end of the monitoring period.
