Abstract

Logic puzzles and paradoxes are problems that make us reason rigourously, their solution, many times, being a consequence of the elucidation of thinking about its possible inferences. Traditionally, they are thought having classical logic as a basis, following the trail of our natural reasoning. However, the development of non-classical logics has allowed the adaptation of thinking to different systems of reasoning, covering up different contexts. Puzzles and paradoxes, in this way, are ways of forcing our thinking to adopt different logical perspectives. In this work, I intend to construct logical puzzles in paraconsistent, paracomplete, polivalued and nondeterministic logics, and to explore classical paradoxes in non-classical contexts. The viability of the idea of non-classical logic puzzles and paradoxes, thus, is conditioned to the success of the construction of such puzzles.
