Abstract

The research proposed here aims to understand how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are being implemented in Brazil. The United Nations established, with the 2030 Agenda, the Objectives and Targets for sustainable development, which proposes the adoption of practices that seek a better quality of life and social equality. In this sense, this research discusses how the Brazilian government established strategies for pursuing the SDGs and goals at the business level and how relationships with companies were built so that they can meet the objectives. To this end, a case study will be carried out with the company Heineken, with its socio-environmental projects and goals for the years 2021 and 2022, which will be analyzed in relation to the objectives set by the 2030 Agenda and the criteria for practices that incorporate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). To carry out this research, bibliographical references will be used that deal with the themes of social and sustainable development, and the use of a documentary analysis, through the collection of information made in the case study with the company Heineken.
