Abstract

This research involves creating a methodology to identify vugs, pores, and fractures based on the data generated from the CT scan (probably using existing libraries). It also involves translating this data, in an automated way, into a FE mesh that is readable by the NeoPZ environment (Devloo, 1997). This task can be achieved using available computational geometry tools such as Gmsh and CGAL.
