Abstract

This research proposal aims to examine the interaction between neoliberalism and digital policy in the Brazilian context, focusing on political, economic, social and regulatory impacts. Using a mixed method approach, the objective is to understand the logic of online mobilization networks of political leaders during the 2024 election and their relationship with political parties. We seek to understand how the principles of neoliberalism have influenced digital policies in Brazil, exploring the effect of these policies on technological innovation, internet access, data privacy and digital equity. Furthermore, it intends to offer data for the analysis of electoral studies, discussing topics such as digital sociability, digital politics and forms of technological influence on the political process and public opinion.
