Abstract

This Scientific Iniciation project aims to develop an Information and Communication technology infrastructure (ICT) for data collection and interoperability within this infrastructure by creating and implementing a database. This database will handle various types of health data with a focus on genomics and thyroid cancer. The implementation will be occur using RedCap software hosted at Unifesp, where sensitive personal data, such as genomic, clinical, demographic, sociocultural, and psychocognitive data, will be entered and managed in both structured and unstructured formats (texts, audios, images, and videos). Thus, the data will be collected by filling out forms with information obtained from retrospective and prospective studies conducted at the Genetic Bases of Thyroid Tumors Laboratory (LaBGenTT) of the Paulista School of Medicine, São Paulo Campus, Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp), and by collaborators from across Brazil, as well as workshops held by the "Genomic Public Health in SUS" project. Ultimately, this project proposes the creation of a tool capable of grouping and organizing different types of data to support and assist the integration of precision health with decision-making and public policy formulation through data analysis.
