Abstract

the United States more visible and, thereby, attract the sympathy of Brazilians. The Art Mini-Gallery of the United States Information Service in São Paulo (USIS), located in the Conjunto Nacional on Avenida Paulista, next to the United States consulate, was a visible and active space in the city of São Paulo. However, the space remains absent from analyses of the city's art circuits, a situation this project aims to reverse by recovering its history and mapping the exhibitions and other activities that took place there.
