Abstract

The candidate will take on the sub-project "Practices, discourses and anti-democratic movements on the border between the justice and public safety professions", which aims to analyze the relations of conflict, cooperation and competition between professionals, interests and police and legal knowledge around the legal regulation and administrative or judicial control of police activity. Specifically, the objectives are: (i) to analyze these relationships in the practices, interactions and perceptions of these professionals involving the limits of police activity; (ii) to analyze interests, knowledge, daily interactions and political demands between professional bases and their elites.
