Abstract

This project aims to study the pedagogical experience of art education developed in the Social Circus project held at the Instituto Entrando Em Cena (Bragança Paulista-SP), emphasizing on the participants' perspective on their own bodies. To do so, we invoke the notion of body and culture developed in the field of anthropology, more precisely in the work of the Frenchman David Le Breton, looking to analyze the transformative potential of Social Circus in body perception.
