Abstract

By building an experimental environment, using software-defined radios (SDRs), the project aims to evaluate the interoperability of different implementations of O-RAN components, as well as the metrics collection process, and possible approaches for increasing the efficiency of the O-RAN. access network. Based on a survey of the current state of knowledge regarding the implementation of O-RAN and techniques for network management, the experimentation environment will be built, where the metrics and impact of the investigated techniques will be evaluated.
