Abstract

Three sheep breeds (Santa Inês, Texel, and White Dorper) carrying different beta-globin haplotypes (AA, AB, and BB) will be comparatively evaluated during natural infection with H. contortus. The levels of anti-H. contortus (ES24 protein) antibodies of the IgG, IgA, and IgM isotypes will be assessed systemically (serum) and locally (nasal and abomasal mucosa).
