Abstract

Maternal history of adverse childhood experiences (ACE) is known not only for increasing the risk for maternal mental health problems, but also the risk of suboptimal caregiving abilities (Bouvette-Turcot et al., 2020). This work aims to contribute to the topic by analyzing the associations between maternal history of adverse childhood experiences and current maternal sensitivity towards the infant.
