Abstract

The objective of this post-doctoral project is to collect subsidies for reviewing public water management policies in Brazil in a set of sixteen (16) journals of scientific relevance classified in Qualis Periódicos (2017-2020) in a time frame that corresponds to the emergence, from the 2000s, on concepts such as transboundary governance, transboundary conflict, water security and cooperation for water management. It is planned to carry out a systemic bibliographic review, considering the checking of titles, abstracts and keywords based on descriptors to assemble a research collection using the database and bibliography manager (BDM) Zotero®. The emphasis is on activities, strategies, methodologies and interventions that influence water governance. The proposal has as its theoretical framework the political geography of water and the critical analysis of the themes included in it. Concepts that in turn are crossed by the idea of sustainability, dissent and asymmetries, when considered in the sphere of public policy development. Interdisciplinary dialogue is proposed, with emphasis on History and Geography as a guide in the analysis of intellectual products from other areas of knowledge, since water, as a fundamental substance for life, mobilizes the production of interdisciplinary knowledge in Sciences and Humanities for your study.
