Abstract

The quantification and decomposition of colors in RGB is extremely important, as maintaining thecoherence of a color observed by a spectrum and a color replicated in RGB is an essential factor forvarious fields, whether they be knowledge areas with research, technological areas with the produc-tion of screens, and even medical areas involved in possible diagnoses that depend on the formation ofcolored images. However, the process of translating a color to an equivalent color in RGB is difficultto reproduce. Thus, this project proposes the construction of an emission colorimeter to classify LEDsand other light sources in their respective equivalents of trichromatic stimuli, in addition to demons-trating this process in a didactic and reproducible manner. The purpose of this project is to developand calibrate a spectroradiometer for measuring spectral power in the visible range. Additionally, theequipment will be calibrated for the colorimetry of emissive light sources.
