Abstract

This project deals with an interdisciplinary area between Computer Science, Engineering, Medicine, and Health. We will study and analyze different computational methods and technologies for the development of applications and software used in the monitoring and tracking of health conditions. Specifically, we will examine various Operating Systems (MS-Windows, Apple iOS, Linux), development tools (e.g., PHP, Java, .NET, Slack, Axure, Node.js, JIRA, etc.), and databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server). After focusing on these technologies, we will study their application in Medicine. More specifically, we will investigate health conditions related to Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Following an understanding of the main conditions associated with this diagnosis, such as signs, symptoms, control, monitoring, and blood pressure measurements, we will design a model and develop an app related to this health condition.
