Abstract

This work deals with an interdisciplinary area involving Computer Science, Engineering, Medicine, and Health. We will study and analyze different computational methods and technologies for the development of applications and software for health condition tracking and monitoring. Specifically, we will analyze different Operating Systems (MS-Windows, Apple iOS, Linux), system development tools (e.g., PHP, Java, .NET, Slack, Axure, Node.js, JIRA, etc.), and databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server). After these studies, which will focus on TECHNOLOGIES, we will explore the application area in MEDICINE. More specifically, we will examine health conditions related to METABOLIC SYNDROME. After understanding the main conditions associated with this diagnosis, such as signs, symptoms, control, monitoring, and the use of blood pressure measurements, we will design a model and develop a software application related to this health condition.
