Abstract Inverse problems are often defined as the process of determining underlying causal rules from observations. In particle physics, the inverse problem usually refers to inferring the fundamental theory Lagrangian from LHC and other experimental data. This problem is particularly difficult to solve, due to the large number of models leading to similar signals at the LHC. In this project we propose to build up on previous attempts and take one additional step towards solving the LHC inverse problem by developing an algorithm which would map LHC signatures to a set of self-consistent BSM lagrangians. | |
