Abstract This BEPE project aims to contribute to the DarkSide collaboration's experimental effort to detect dark matter directly, specifically with the DarkSide-20k experiment.More specifically, it aims to develop and optimize simulations using the G4DS tool to calculate the sensitivity of the DarkSide-20k detector for detecting heavy WIMPs. The project also involves studying and understanding various detector components and actively participating in the experiment's construction and testing phases. These efforts are crucial to ensure the success of the DarkSide-20k experiment and refining techniques for background rejection, calibration, and sensitivity improvement. | |
