Abstract

The research internship at the "Instituto de Desarrollo Económico y Social" (IDES), in Buenos Aires, was already planned in the Master's project submitted to FAPESP. Its main objective is to deepen and enrich theoretical and methodological knowledge related to my research topic. The choice of the institution was based on its academic excellence and the opportunity to work under the supervision of Professor Valentina Salvi, an international reference in studies on perpetrators and memory. In general, the internship includes participation in IDES' internal seminars, the Meridianos Colloquia at IDES, bibliographic research, and participation in various academic events. I highlight that Argentina is a reference country in studies on memory and, consequently, the research internship will also be an opportunity to follow discussions and conferences with important researchers in the area, in addition to coming into contact with new trends and research issues.
