Abstract

Functional connectivity is defined as the significant statistical similarity between time series. An important class of applications in network science is the characterization and classification of functional networks constructed from patterns of neuronal activation in anatomically separated brain regions. In this project, we will analyze functional networks created from EEG recordings of children diagnosed with autism. Our goal is to develop a technique that differentiates, through the functional connectivity of the electrode network, data from patients diagnosed with autism and control patients.
