Abstract

The main objective of this research project is to locate, gather, and analyze Gramsci's journalistic texts that address pedagogical themes and problems, in order to outline and understand his pedagogy as expressed in these texts, and its possible theoretical and political connections to what he would later develop in the Prison Notebooks.This is a bibliographic and documentary research that will focus on Gramsci's articles and chronicles published in the periodicals Il Grido del Popolo, Avanti!, La Città Futura, and L'Ordine Nuovo. However, given the vastness of Gramsci's journalistic work and the impossibility of predicting the quantity of texts that contain reflections on pedagogical themes, there is a need for delimitation to make the research feasible within the expected timeframe.Thus, the work will initially concentrate on the period from 1910, when Gramsci published his first article, until 1919, when L'Ordine Nuovo was founded and his attention turned particularly to this newspaper. Once this stage is completed, the examination of the texts published in L'Ordine Nuovo from 1919 to 1924 will begin.In the end, it is expected to translate and publish the selected collection of texts, providing Brazilian readers and researchers with a complementary and necessary source for a deeper study of Gramsci's pedagogical thought and practice.
