Abstract

This project aims to develop a cartography of the infinite hope of the Guarani and Kaiowá, as a possibility of an ethnomathematics that affirms the life of these peoples. The proposal extends to the creation of educational material in the Guarani language, focused on the conceptualization of mathematical ideas relevant to the context of indigenous school education in these communities. The work, to be carried out in partnership with the Intercultural Teaching degree course Teko Arandu, at the Federal University of Grande Dourados, seeks to enhance the mobilization of mathematical knowledge in a decolonial movement by bringing together different epistemologies to provide a pedagogical approach aligned with the cultural and traditional particularities of the Guarani and Kaiowá. The research method adopted is cartography.
