Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyze how aesthetic experience provides models of social emancipation through the reconstruction of notions such as people, territory and space. The aim is to defend the thesis that models of social emancipation can benefit from the capacity of aesthetic experience to resize the imagination and social sensibility, especially by reconfiguring ways of relating to space and determining links to places and territories. The research seeks to think about these issues by analyzing the systems of fundamental works of musical modernism, in particular the work of Bela Bartok
