Abstract

The study of open heavy flavor states has long is a very powerful tool to study the properties of the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP) due its early production time and long lifetime. The correlation of open heavy flavor hadrons with jets allows a less inclusive study of the interaction of heavy flavor quarks with the QGP, bringing important information regarding the medium properties. The goal of this project is to study the correlation of open heavy flavor hadrons to jet phenomenon in relativistic heavy ion collisions using the ALICE data.
