Abstract

This project proposes to employ spectroscopies analyses of EDXRF (Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence), NAA Neutron Activation Analyses, FTIR (Fourier transform infrared) and Raman, coupled with chemometrics, to develop a reference spectral database which will aid in fraud detection of agricultural exports (soy, wood and beef) from the Amazon region in Brazil. Discrimination and classification of samples (hundreds of samples) will be carried out through tests such as discriminant analysis (DA), partial least squares (PLS), principal component analysis (PCA) and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA).
