Abstract

Neurofeedback has emerged as a promising therapeutic intervention targeting central level adaptations in individuals with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) also presents innovative potential in the treatment of patients with OCD. This study aims to analyze the possible association of heart rate with the response to Neurofeedback intervention using fNIRS in individuals with OCD, aiming to elucidate therapeutic benefits and identify response patterns. The research will significantly contribute to the understanding of the physiological mechanisms underlying fNIRS intervention in the context of OCD.
