Abstract In this project, we propose the development of a method for transporting levi-tated nanoparticles that can be accelerated or precisely positioned at a desired location. Ourgoal with this method, called the Optical Conveyor Belt, is to design a more efficient load-ing system capable of accurately positioning nanoparticles into an ultrahigh-vacuum opticaltweezer inside a vacuum chamber in a clean and deterministic manner, utilizing a hollow-core photonic crystal fiber. This will enable the study of more complex and sensitive systemsinvolving levitated nanoparticles. | |
