Abstract

This project organizes an investigation dedicated to unraveling the connections between the thoughts of Jacques Lacan, Friedrich Hegel, and Alexandre Kojève. The primary objective is to identify, delimit, and describe the distinctive characteristics of dialectics according to Lacan's formulation, comparing it with the Kojèvian and Hegelian perspectives, particularly regarding the constitution of the subject and its relationship with the Other. The study, grounded in the analysis of Lacan's text "The Subversion of the Subject and the Dialectic of Desire in the Freudian Unconscious," as well as Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit and Kojève's Introduction to the Reading of Hegel, will seek to explore the nuances and subtleties of Lacan's concept of dialectics, highlighting how his ideas both engage with and diverge from those of Hegel and Kojève. The research aims to examine the Hegelian influence on Lacan's theoretical elaborations, especially in the dialectical relationship between subject and Other, underscoring the intersection of psychoanalysis and philosophy. Furthermore, this investigation may contribute to a deeper understanding of contemporary thought on subjectivity, the construction of the intersubjective space, and consequently, the social relations shaped by it, both in theoretical discourse and psychoanalytic praxis.
